JP Series Electro Press

Our press is widely used for plugging cross-drilled channels in ABS valve bodies. The Electro Press can be programmed to press to a touch load to determine part contact. Then the press will insert the ball/plug to a specified depth from contract point while sensing force throughout the stroke. Multiple judgement areas can be programmed to look for specific force-distance signatures. Probe limit positions are also set to ensure part or tooling damage does not occur.

This application requires an input device to measure the distance between the bottom side of the upper disk and the topside of the lower disk. When the disks reach the proper distance, a measurement device sends an input to the press to end the cycle and applied force is checked to ensure it did not exceed preprogrammed limits. P1 represents lower load limit P2 represents upper load limit.

This application requires a constant pressure to be applied over time. The press is programmed to maintain a constant force within a position or distance range for the specified cured time. Position is checked at end of stroke and compared to upper and lower limits set in the judgement area. Probe limit positions are also set to ensure part or tooling damage does not occur.

This application requires the Electro Press to crimp the housing to a specified load. Differential points are watched to ensure that the motor is not being damaged or strained. Position is checked at end of cycle to ensure both lower and upper limits are met. Probe limit positions are set to ensure part or tooling damage does not occur.
